Shakhtarbeat Zoryain the final match of the 25th round Ukrainian Premier League (UPL). The meeting at the Lviv Arena ended in victory for the Donetsk club with a score of 2:1.
The first half of the match passed without any goals scored. At the start of the second half of the game, the Lugansk team unexpectedly took the lead – in the 50th minute, Denis Antyukh scored with an accurate shot.
However, Marino Pusic’s team managed to turn the tide of the confrontation and win a strong-willed victory. In the 72nd minute the score was equalized by Eguinaldo, and in the 87th minute the decisive goal was scored by Daniil Sican.
Zarya finished the match shorthanded – in the last minute of regular time, Lugansk goalkeeper Alexander Saputin received a straight red card, who ran outside the penalty area and knocked down Sikan in a tackle.

The victory allowed Shakhtar (58 points) to strengthen their leadership in the UPL – the Donetsk team is again ahead of Dynamo by 4 points. Zarya (26 points) remained in 11th position.
