Shakhtardefeated Minai in the match 21st round of the Ukrainian Premier League (UPL). The meeting at the Lviv Arena ended with the score 2:0.
The Donetsk team scored both goals within six minutes in the middle of the first half. In the 24th minute, Georgiy Sudakov opened the scoring by converting a penalty.
In the 30th minute, Marino Pusic’s team doubled their lead. Daniil Sikan made an accurate low shot from outside the penalty area after a pass from the Brazilian Kevin.

After this victory, Shakhtar (43 points) became the sole leaders of the UPL. The Donetsk club is now three points ahead of Krivbass, although it has played one match less. “Minaj” (10 points) closes the standings.
In the next round of the Ukrainian championship, the “miners” will play against “Obolon” on March 30, and the Transcarpathians will meet “Alexandria” a day later.
