The Polish team defeated the Wales team in the final match of the play-off qualifying for Euro 2024. The main and extra time of the match in Cardiff ended with the score 0:0, and in the penalty shootout the Polish players were more accurate.
During the entire match, both teams did not create a large number of scoring chances. The Poles shot on goal more often – 13 versus 11, but the Welsh dominated in shots on target – 3:0. In terms of expected goals (xG), the Welsh team outperformed Kadra – 0.85 to 0.41.
