We talk about official deals and loud rumors of the winter transfer window.

The winter transfer window will open in most leagues in world football at the beginning of January 2024. Clubs will be able to sign newcomers and strengthen their squads in order to successfully complete the second part of the season.

TSN Prosport talks about the transfers of players that have already officially taken place, as well as the main rumors of the winter transfer window in the top European and world championships, as well as the Ukrainian Premier League (UPL).

The current Italian champion Napoli is interested in the transfer of Shakhtar Donetsk and Ukrainian national team defender Nikolai Matvienko .

According to Calcionow, the Parthenopeans are going to strengthen their defensive line in winter. Representatives of the Serie A club drew attention to the 27-year-old Ukrainian. The possible transfer is estimated at 30 million euros.

It is noted that Napoli can afford to spend such a sum, since they earned about 25 million euros from the sale of midfielder Elif Elmas to RB Leipzig.

Matvienko’s contract with Shakhtar is valid until the end of December 2027. This season Nikolay played 16 matches for the Pitmen in all competitions and scored 4 goals.
