The 30-year-old Ukrainian took second place in the all-around, scoring a total of 84.031 points.
The Cypriot became the European all-around champion Marios Georgiou – 84.265 points. The top three winners were completed by the Italian Yumin Abbadini.
In the all-around, Ukraine was also represented by Ilya Kovtun, who took sixth place with a score of 83.331 points.
For Vernyaev, this is the 13th medal in his career at the championship level Europe and the first since 2017.
