Sergei Myakushko's double allowed the Poltava team to defeat Rivne club
Vorskladefeated Veres in the home match of the 19th round of the Ukrainian Premier League ( UPL). The match in Poltava ended with the score 2:1.
The guests took the lead before the break thanks to the efforts of winter newcomer Marko Mrvaljevic.
At the beginning of the second half, the Poltava team bounced back – Sergei Myakushko on the far side of the penalty area closed in Igor Perduta’s cross from the right flank.
Under The end of the match “green-white” snatched victory – in the 81st minute Myakushko scored a double.
Review of the match “Vorskla” – “Veres”
Thus, Vorskla won the first victory under the leadership of Sergei Dolgansky. Poltava with 26 points rose to seventh place in the UPL. “Veres” (12 points) is in the penultimate, 15th position.
In the next round, “Vorskla” will meet with “Chernomorets” on March 9, and “Veres” will play with “Dynamo” on March 7.
