Over the past 24 hours from March 1 to 2, Russian troops lost 1,110 soldiers, 8 tanks and 2 multiple rocket launchers in the war against Ukraine. The total number of equipment lost by the enemy is 211 units.
This was reported by RBC-Ukraine with reference to data from the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The total combat losses of the enemy from 24.02.22 to 02.03.25 were approximately:
- personnel – about 876,720 (+1110) people eliminated;
- tanks – 10,241 (+8) units;
- combat armored vehicles – 21,274 (+25) units;
- artillery systems – 23,959 (+51) units;
- MLRS – 1306 (+2) units;
- air defense systems – 1091 (+3) units;
- aircraft – 370 units;
- helicopters – 331 units;
- Operational-tactical level UAVs – 27,594 (+192) units;
- cruise missiles – 3085 units;
- ships/boats – 28 units;
- submarines – 1 unit;
- automotive equipment and tank trucks – 39,218 (+117) units;
- special equipment – 3768 (+5) units.
The situation at the front and Russian air attacks
According to the Institute for the Study of War (ISW), the Ukrainian Armed Forces had success near Toretsk. However, the Russians advanced near Velyka Novosilka.
On the evening of March 1, a Russian “Shahed” attacked a house in Zaporozhye, a fire broke out at the landing site. One person was injured.
In addition, Russian terrorists struck Odessa with a ballistic missile. As a result of the attack, a civilian vessel and port infrastructure were damaged, and there are civilian casualties.
