Over the past 24 hours from April 8 to 9, the Russians lost 1,270 soldiers, 10 armored combat vehicles and 4 tanks at the front.
This was reported by RBC-Ukraine with reference to data from the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The enemy's total combat losses from 24.02.22 to 09.04.25 were approximately:
- personnel – about 927,580 (+1270) people were eliminated;
- tanks – 10,576 (+4) units;
- combat armored vehicles – 22,021 (+10) units;
- artillery systems – 25,912 (+52) units;
- MLRS – 1359 units;
- air defense systems – 1127 (+1) units;
- aircraft – 370 units;
- helicopters – 335 units;
- Operational-tactical level UAVs – 31,973 (+56) units;
- cruise missiles – 3145 units;
- ships/boats – 28 units;
- submarines – 1 unit;
- automotive equipment and tank trucks – 43,345 (+118) units;
- special equipment – 3792 units.
The situation at the front and shelling by the Russian Federation
Over the past 24 hours, 135 combat clashes have been recorded at the front. The Pokrovskoe direction remains the hottest section of the front.
According to the Institute for the Study of War (ISW), the Ukrainian Armed Forces have the situation under control in the Pokrovsk area and are not allowing the enemy to advance further.
Last night, Ukraine was attacked again by Russian kamikaze drones.
As a result of the landings in Kharkov, residential buildings in several districts were damaged, and 20 explosions thundered in the city.
In Dnepr, UAVs damaged residential infrastructure and the gas network.
