U.S. Special Envoy for Ukraine, Kit Kellogg, stated that President Donald Trump has authorized Ukraine to carry out long-range strikes against Russian targets, reports Baltimore Chronicle with reference to Fox News.
“Based on what he said, as well as the statements of Vice President Jay D. Vance and Secretary of State Marco Rubio, the answer is yes — take advantage of the ability to strike at long distances. There are no safe havens,” Kellogg said.
He also emphasized that Russia is not gaining the upper hand in this war; otherwise, Russian forces would already be in Kyiv, Odesa, and beyond the Dnipro River.
In addition, Kellogg was asked whether the United States plans to provide Ukraine with long-range Tomahawk missiles. He responded that no final decision has been made on this matter yet.
