Ukraine and Polish partners will create a prosthetics and rehabilitation center for veterans who suffered as a result of Russian aggression.
The press service of the Ministry for the Reintegration of Temporarily Occupied Territories reported this, Ukrinform reports.
«A Polish-Ukrainian prosthetics center for veterans will be created in Ukraine. Such plans were discussed at a special meeting chaired by Deputy Prime Minister Irina Vereshchuk, the report says. It is noted that the creation of a modern prosthetics and rehabilitation center in Ukraine is being carried out by representatives of the Polish company EnForce Medical Technologies and the Poland Helps Ukraine, Siepomaga and Solidarity Fund foundations.
Currently, a search is underway for an appropriate premises for arranging a center where people can receive prosthetics and undergo rehabilitation.
At the same time, the possibility of organizing the production of prosthetics in the future center is being considered.
All technological processes that are necessary for this will be transferred from Poland to Ukraine.
As Ukrinform reported, Lithuania is ready to accept 400 Ukrainians for treatment and provide rehabilitation for 1,200 of our citizens who suffered from Russia’s armed aggression.
