Clinical Hospital “Feofania” ;, subordinate to the State Administration of Affairs, will continue to provide certain medical services free of charge under the Medical Guarantee Program as part of a pilot project.
According to the Ministry of Health, the corresponding resolution was adopted at a government meeting, Ukrinform reports.
The resolution extends the duration of the pilot project to join the Feofania clinical hospital to provide medical care under the medical guarantee program until December 31, 2024. The number of medical service packages that will be provided at the hospital free of charge has also been expanded.
“The pilot project in Feofania is showing excellent results. We not only continue its operation, but are constantly expanding the list of areas of medical care that every person can receive here free of charge. Now this is not only medical care for strokes and heart attacks, as at the beginning of the project, but also oncology and transplantation. , – noted Health Minister Viktor Lyashko.
The resolution stipulates that the medical institution will provide medical care under the following packages of the Medical Guarantee Program: “Medical care for acute cerebral stroke”; “Medical care for acute myocardial infarction”; “Radiological treatment and support of patients with cancer in inpatient and outpatient settings”; “Chemotherapy treatment and support for patients with cancer in inpatient and outpatient settings”; “Treatment and support of patients with hematological and oncohematological diseases in inpatient and outpatient settings”;
Clinical Hospital “Feofania” has a powerful material and technical base that allows the use of the latest methods of treating patients. In 2023, Feofania expanded the list of services under three SGP packages. In particular, oncology treatment was added to cases of acute cerebral stroke and acute myocardial infarction. The hospital had the opportunity to enter into an agreement with the NHSU for the package “Radiological treatment and support of patients with cancer in inpatient and outpatient settings.”
In 2024, the medical institution entered into an agreement with the NHSU for additional transplant packages for a total amount of 35 .3 million UAH. The package includes treatment of adults and children with organ transplantation worth more than UAH 17.1 million and treatment of adults and children with hematopoietic stem cell transplantation worth more than UAH 18.2 million.
