In the Khmelnitsky region, medical care during childbirth is provided free of charge in 13 institutions that have an agreement with the National Health Service.
A Ukrinform correspondent was informed about this by the Western Interregional Department of the National Healthcare Institution.
“Medical care during childbirth is fully covered by the Medical Guarantee Program. Last year, about 7 thousand births in the Khmelnitsky region were paid for by the National Health Insurance Fund. This is almost 118 million hryvnia, which were received by 16 medical institutions in the region,” said the director of the department, Tatyana Kudyk.
This year, according to her, 13 medical institutions in the Khmelnytsky region contracted from the NSZU, three of them in the regional center .

As Ukrinform reported, almost 3.5 thousand medical institutions entered into contracts with the NSZU in 2024.
