As Ukrinform reports, the Minister of Internal Affairs stated this during a visit to the Medical Rehabilitation Center and the Main Medical Center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the press service of the ministry reports.

“Over the past year, we have radically changed the work of rehabilitation centers. Modern types of rehabilitation, in particular canisteropy and animal-assisted therapy, exchange of experience with foreign doctors. We have created sports grounds and gyms on the basis of the centers. Because sports “is one of the main requests from our veterans,” noted Klimenko.

According to him, “high-quality treatment and rehabilitation of our Heroes is one of the main areas of work of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine.”

Also, Klimenko, together with the head of the National Police, Ivan Vyhovsky, visited the children who are being treated at the Main Medical Center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and presented them with state and departmental awards.

In addition, the minister took part in a working meeting of heads of healthcare institutions of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

" There are many challenges ahead, medical centers must be ready to respond quickly,” Klymenko concluded.

As Ukrinform reported, more than 200 psychologists from the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine began training under the Israeli Trauma Coalition “First Reaction” program.
