“On March 1, the opening of the first mobile pharmacy route in the Nikolaev region of the enterprise of the Nikolaev regional organization of the Ukrainian Red Cross Society “Ukrainian Red Cross Hospital” took place,” the message says.
It is noted that at the first stage, the work of the mobile pharmacy is focused on five villages in the region that do not have stationary pharmacies. Two of them survived the occupation in 2022.
Thanks to the mobile pharmacy, village residents will have access, among other things, to medicines under the “Affordable Medicines” program. The social project that has begun will have further expansion.
“The introduction of mobile pharmacy points for rural areas is an important initiative of the government,” noted Deputy Chairman of the OVA Yuri Granaturov.
Also, according to him , based on PKVO “Pharmacia” The region's paramedic and obstetric centers are being attracted to dispensing medicines in rural areas; in the future, it is expected that the capacity of JSC “Ukrposhta” will be added. before the delivery of medicines to rural areas.
As Ukrinform reported, the possibility of launching mobile pharmacies in the Sumy and Chernihiv regions is also being explored.
