Wife of the President of Ukraine Elena Zelenskaya recommended the book Mental Health of Children During War: Advice for Parents and Caregivers, developed jointly with UNICEF.

Zelenskaya wrote about this on Facebook on the occasion of World Adolescent Mental Health Day, Ukrinform reports.

According to her, according to the results of a sociological study commissioned by the third Summit of First Ladies and Gentlemen, Summit of Fi Ladies and Gentlemen, to say 44% of young people aged 13-24 in different countries, in particular in Ukraine, are ashamed of mental health. Another 38% believe that such conversations would worry their family and friends too much.

As the First Lady noted, these results are very concerning, because the study shows that half of young people are stressed, depressed and exhausted. Adults do not have the right to be indifferent to these feelings. A child always needs an older hand, which he can take on in order to overcome difficulties,” Zelenskaya emphasized and recalled the publication “Mental health of children during the war: advice to parents and guardians,” available on the website of the All-Ukrainian Mental Health Program. ;"How are you?".

According to the President’s wife, the collection developed jointly with UNICEF will help both children and adults survive crisis situations. It contains information about signs indicating the need to seek psychological support, assistance techniques to stabilize the psycho-emotional state, as well as contacts of specialists.

As Ukrinform reported, according to Zelenskaya, Ukrainian experts over the past decade, especially over two years of a full-scale war, we gained unique knowledge about the impact of great shocks on people and the most effective ways to overcome the consequences.
