Due to hostilities and technological violations, problems with electricity and gas supply affected eight regions of Ukraine and the city of Kyiv.
The Ministry of Energy reported this on Facebook, Ukrinform reports.
In the Kharkov region, due to hostilities, the 110 kV overhead line was disconnected, and substation equipment was damaged. There were 20 settlements in the region without power supply – 11,281 subscribers.
In total, 27,236 consumers in the region have no electricity due to enemy shelling.
In Kharkov, the Kharkov Palace Hotel was damaged due to a missile strike by Russian troops. At the direction of the State Emergency Service, gas supply to the rooftop boiler house was stopped. There are no gas leaks.
Also in Kharkov, gas supply was suspended to 292 consumers.
In one of the settlements of the Kupyansky district, a low-pressure gas pipeline was damaged by enemy shelling – 70 subscribers were left without gas.
In Vinnitsa, due to a short-term power outage in one of the houses, the protection at the gas control point tripped, as a result of which the gas supply was suspended to 1,300 consumers.
In the Dnepropetrovsk region, 4,226 consumers lost power per day due to technical reasons. Subscribers who had previously been disconnected were also without power supply.
In total, energy workers managed to heal 4,741 consumers in the region.
As of the morning of December 31, 175 consumers do not have electricity supply in the Dnepropetrovsk region. Due to enemy shelling, 1,443 subscribers lost power. Restoration work continues.
In the Zaporozhye region, 34 consumers were disconnected due to enemy shelling. As of this morning, they are all healed. 63 settlements – 5,631 subscribers – remain without electricity supply in the region.
In Kyiv, due to technological reasons, 213 consumers have no electricity. Restoration work continues.
In the Odessa region, 296 consumers remain without electricity due to enemy shelling.
In the Sumy region, due to a Russian artillery strike, the 10 kV overhead line was switched off – three settlements (502 consumers) were without power. The energy workers will heal them as soon as the military allows it.
In total, 57 settlements in the region remain without power due to enemy shelling, 11 of them partially (2,784 consumers).
In the Kherson region, due to the fighting, there are 45 settlements without electricity – 39,577 metering points, including 13,574 in Kherson itself.
In the Chernihiv region, as a result of shelling carried out by the Russians the day before, 18 settlements remain without power. A total of 1,205 subscribers are without power. Restoration work continues.
For technological reasons, in one of the villages of the Kozeletsky district, gas supply to 66 household consumers was temporarily stopped.
In Semenovka, enemy shelling damaged the gas pipelines of private houses – consumers were disconnected.
According to the Ministry of Energy, the situation in the country's energy system is stable. The use of planned shutdowns is not provided.
