This is reported by “On Pensions”.
Who will have their pension recalculated from April 1
Recalculation of pensions will be carried out for citizens of Ukraine older 65 years old with full insurance coverage, as well as for working pensioners.
Who will have their pension increased from April 1
Due to the fact that from January 1, 2024, the minimum wage in Ukraine increased to 7,100 UAH, then pensioners over 65 years of age with full service now receive payments in the amount of at least 2,840 UAH instead of 2,680 UAH. This is 40% of the minimum wage.
Since in Ukraine from April 1 the minimum wage will be increased to 8,000 UAH, then the minimum pension will also increase in April – to 3,200 UAH.
From April 1, payments of working pensioners will also be automatically recalculated. During the recalculation, the updated insurance period will be taken into account.
We would like to remind you that in Ukraine, the requirements for length of service have increased since 2024: Now, to retire at 60, you must have at least 31 years of service. Those with 21 to 31 years of experience will be able to retire at age 63.
