Ukraine and its allies want to introduce a special tax for the Russian Federation as compensation for damage from aggression.
The Prime Minister said this on 1+1 -Minister of Ukraine Denis Shmygal.
He said that today, according to the World Bank, the damage from Russian aggression amounts to $486 billion.
“As of today, we have immobilized Russian assets we know about 300 billion. The difference, which is increasing every day, unfortunately, due to a full-scale invasion, we plan to cover by introducing, together with our partners, a special taxation on Russian oil, gas and other raw materials, as well as on Russian goods that it wants and will sell on international markets,” Shmygal said.
Recall that it was previously reported that three EU countries are against the purchase of Ukrainian ammunition with funds received from frozen assets of the Russian Federation.
