According to the department's analysis, the average salary for vacancies on job search sites increased to UAH 19,553 in July 2024.
Salaries have increased in Ukraine. The highest salaries are received by workers in the fields of information and telecommunications, as well as financial and insurance activities.
This is stated in the Monitoring of the main events in the economy of Ukraine for June, published by the Ministry of Economy.
The level of wages in 2023-2024 continues to be influenced by factors of 2022 – the consequences of active military operations in a significant territory of Ukraine, namely:
- temporary loss of significant territory, destruction of infrastructure and enterprises (or their damage, which led to the suspension of their activities);
- significant permanent destruction of logistics;
- a significant number of people of working age abroad and in the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, which creates significant structural imbalances in the labor market.
At the same time, domestic enterprises are raising the level of wages in order to retain and attract new highly qualified personnel in the context of a shortage of labor resources in the country.
According to the department's analysis, the average salary for vacancies on job search sites in July 2024 increased to UAH 19,553.
