The average pension in Ukraine has increased over the past three months by about 73 UAH.
Ukrainians with an average salary can count on a pension, the amount of which will be only 5,401.5 UAH. You can apply for such a payment with 35 years of experience.

In Ukraine, the pension depends on two factors: experience and salary. The higher the official salary and the longer the length of service, the greater the upcoming payment will be.
Pensions for Ukrainians are calculated using the formula: the average salary for the last three years multiplied by the ratio of one’s own salary to the average, by the length of service in years and by 1%. The amount received is the size of the future pension.
“The average pension in Ukraine has increased over the past three months by approximately 73 UAH, to 5816 UAH. In January 2024, Ukrainians received an average of 5385 UAH. If consider the change in the size of the pension for the entire time of the full-scale war, then payments increased from 3991 to 581 UAH. We are talking about the average indicator,” the message states.
