Denys Shmyhal announced support for all families in need of subsidies for utilities.
More than 40 billion UAH will be allocated from the 2025 state budget for subsidies in Ukraine.
This was announced by Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal.
The head of government wrote online that more than half of all budget expenditures for 2025 will be directed to the defense and security of Ukraine.
“We are increasing funding for the purchase of weapons, equipment and drones for the development of our own military production,” Shmyhal noted.
He also spoke about plans for financing in the social sphere in 2025:
- pensions will be indexed,
- teachers' salaries will be increased in January and September through special additional payments introduced within the framework of the Winter Support program,
- the Affordable Medicines program will be expanded.
“We are allocating more than UAH 40 billion for subsidies, which allows us to support all Ukrainian families in need of help with paying for utilities,” the prime minister emphasized.
By the way, in mid-November, the Pension Fund of Ukraine updated the amounts of housing subsidies for the heating season.
