This was reported by the Ministry of Social Policy.
The department emphasized that all payments, benefits and pensions for people with disabilities will be maintained.
“Today, a number of media outlets and Telegram channels have disseminated information about the alleged possible cancellation of payments to people with the 2nd or 3rd disability group. Please note: this information is not true and is incorrect,” the ministry said in a statement.
They emphasized that there were no initiatives to cancel payments to people with disabilities.
Recall that the day before, the first deputy head of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Social Policy and Protection of Veterans' Rights, Mykhailo Tsymbalyuk, said that the government allegedly wants to cancel payments to people with the second and third disability groups, introducing a larger payment amount for the first group.
