The amount of pension for persons with disabilities in 2025 is determined by a number of factors, among which age, disability group and length of insurance experience play an important role.
Each pension is calculated individually, taking into account personal circumstances, in particular, the number of years worked and the disability category that was assigned to the person. In general, the conditions for the appointment and the amount of disability pensions are determined by Articles 30-35 of the Law of Ukraine “On Compulsory State Pension Insurance” No. 1058-IV of July 9, 2003.
According to the law, pensions are assigned to people with disabilities if they have an insurance record of 1 to 15 years. The required duration of the insurance record depends on the age at which the disability was established.
The amount of minimum payments for people with group 3 disabilities depends on whether the person continues to work, as well as on the time of the onset of the disability.

The size of the disability pension is calculated depending on the disability group as a percentage of the old-age pension.
People with disability group 3 and insurance experience from 1 to 14 years receive 50% of the old-age pension. The Pension Fund calculates the amount received by a person without a disability and divides it in half.
In this case, the insurance period for calculating the amount of the old-age pension, from which the amount of the disability pension is calculated, in addition to the acquired insurance period, includes the period from the date of establishing disability until reaching the age of 60. The longer the period, the higher the amount of payments, in each case it is calculated individually.
Minimum amount of disability pension in 2025
There is a minimum amount of payments, less than which people with disabilities will not be paid. The pension of persons with disabilities of groups II and III who do not work in 2025 will be at least 2520 hryvnia per month.
Can a disabled person of group 3 work and receive a pension? Yes, but in this case he will receive less. For persons with disabilities of groups II and III who work, the pension amount is set at 2093 UAH.
