Not all Ukrainians will have their pensions increased after indexation

Disability pensions and payments for most pensioners will increase by 11.5%.

Despite the indexation of pensions , after the March recalculation, the increase in disability payments will not affect everyone.

This was reported by pension expert Sergei Korobkin in a commentary to Channel 24.

The expert explained: although the recalculation of pensions should cover all pensioners, there are some nuances. For example, payments will not be increased for people with disabilities from childhood . This is explained by the fact that they do not receive a pension, but a social benefit, because they do not have work experience.

As a result, indexation is not provided for them. That is why the amount of payments for such pensioners will remain at the level of 2361 UAH per month.

Disability pensions and payments for most pensioners will increase by 11.5%. In particular, pensions under special laws, for example, for Chernobyl victims and military personnel. Thus, the minimum pension for persons with Group I disability will increase from 2980 to 3323 hryvnia.

As reported, pension indexation has been completed in Ukraine. Payments for most pensioners have increased. Preliminary, pensions of Ukrainians will be indexed by 11.5% this year.
