Washington and Moscow are negotiating about the renewal of the Pivnichny Potik gas pipeline, confirms the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Russia Sergey Lavrov.

“There are discussions about “Pivnichnyi Potik” ( “Pivnichnyi Potik-1” and “Pivnichnyi Potik-2,” ed .),” Lavrov told the Russian TV station during an interview. “Obviously, it will be good if the Americans stop their influx on Europe and are not afraid of Russian gas.”
In his words, Russia is “connected to Europe’s renewed normal energy supply.”
Until now, Nimechtina opposed the renovation of the gas pipeline.
Brussels also does not see the possibility of returning to Russian gas imports.
It appears that with the arrival of President Donald Trump, relations between the United States and Russia are becoming warmer. The two powers are negotiating about starting a fire in Ukraine, but now Washington is victorious against them to discuss “great economic benefits” for the future.
Previously, it was reported that Moscow would finance the renewal of gas supplies to Europe via an offshore gas pipeline with the support of American investors.
According to Ukrinform, the pipeline that previously transported gas from Russia to Germany along the bottom of the Baltic Sea was disrupted at the end of 2022. The investigation into sabotage is troubling.
