 Some Ukrainians may be left without pensions in April: the PFU named the reason

Internally displaced pensioners may lose payments.

Ukrainian pensioners with internally displaced status displaced person acquired before February 24, 2022had to undergo identification by the end of March 2024.However, not all pensioners undergo the necessary identification on time – in some cases this leads to delays in the accrual and payment of pensions.

This was reported by the Main Directorate of the Pension fund of Ukraine in the Vinnytsia region.

Pensioners who did not pass identification were left without payments in April.

However, the Pension Fund will accumulate funds in the pension account of persons until the confirmation process goes through.

“Persons who did not manage to complete identification within the specified period have the right to resume payments. To do this, they will have to go through the process of confirming their identity. Consequently, as soon as the procedure is completed, the funds will be credited to the pensioner’s account,” the message says.

How to get identified:

  • personally contact the Oschadbank branch or visit the service center of the Pension Fund;
  • use your personal account on the Pension Fund website;
  • use video communication to communicate with an employee of the Pension Fund;
  • contact a diplomatic institution of Ukraine abroad.

Details about identification can be found through the electronic account on the website pfu. gov.ua in the “My Profile” section.

Video identification – list of documents:

  • passport;
  • identification code ;
  • documents confirming location (for IDPs);
  • document on the right to representation (if necessary).

It is also possible for identification involve relatives or other persons for assistance, if necessary. To do this, you need to indicate in your application information about the need for the presence of a personal assistant.
