Andriy Ermak told how the agreements between Zelensky and Biden will proceed.
The US bill on financial assistance to Ukraine provides for a mechanism for quickly writing off the “debt” from Ukraine by decision of the US President. Head of the Presidential Office Andrey Ermak explained how this will work.
He spoke about this on air at the “1+1” telethon.
“Our presidents (The USA and Ukraine – ed.) must agree on the procedure for the return of these funds. And indeed there is a mechanism by which the US President can decide on the gradual write-off of this amount. Of course, immediately after signing this law, on the instructions of the President of Ukraine, a team will begin to work. The White House will specify how this mechanism will work. I think that we will find a solution with our partners that would suit Ukraine,” he explained.
Recall that Ermak said when Ukraine will receive additional Patriot air defense system.
