Experts made their estimates, predicting the duration of the war.
Average exchange rate of the dollar in 2024 will be 40.33 UAH. Experts predict that by the end of the year the value of the American currency will rise to 41.67 UAH per dollar.
This is evidenced by the consensus forecast for April 2024 of experts and officials, published on the website of the Ministry of Economy.
The consensus forecast takes into account the forecasts of two groups of experts. Thus, the optimistic ones made their forecast, taking into account that the war will end this year. However, another group believes that a full-scale invasion will last longer.
According to the forecast of the first group of experts, during this year the average dollar exchange rate will be 42.6 UAH. At the end of 2024, the value will reach 45.7 UAH per dollar.
Meanwhile, another group believes that the average exchange rate of the American currency will be 42.70 UAH. At the end of the year, the dollar will be 44.80 UAH.
As reported, in Ukraine the dollar has already become 40 hryvnia. The hryvnia continues to fall in price, two weeks later the national currency lost 95 to the dollar kopecks.
