In January 2024, the Ukrainian vehicle fleet was replenished with more than 3.5 thousand vehicles powered by battery power sources (BEV). Compared to January last year, the demand for electric vehicles increased by 2.8 times. Ukravtoprom reports this.

The share of new cars in BEV registrations was 24% versus 23% in January 2023.
The bulk Electric vehicles registered during the month amounted to passenger cars – 3,490 units. (new – 840 pcs., used – 2650 pcs.). Of the 54 commercial electric vehicles, only 4 were new.

- Volkswagen iD.4 — 286 units; BYD Song Plus – 83 units; Honda eNS1 – 80 units; Toyota bZ4X – 56 units; Nissan Ariya – 50 units.
TOP-5 January used electric vehicles registered for the first time in Ukraine:
- Nissan Leaf – 355 units; Tesla Model 3 – 309 units; Tesla Model Y – 242 units; Volkswagen e-Golf – 178 units; Volkswagen iD.4 – 169 units.
Recall
The “Ministry of Finance” wrote that Tesla informed suppliers that it wants to begin production of a new electric car for the mass market, codenamed “Redwood” in mid-2025.
