Tesla is recalling 3,878 Cybertrucks to replace a gas pedal cover that can become loose and become stuck in the interior trim. This is reported by Reuters, citing a statement by the US National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA).

“A pressed accelerator pedal can lead to unintended acceleration of the vehicle, increasing the risk of a crash,” NHTSA said.
Tesla will replace or repair the accelerator pedal free of charge, and owners will be notified in June.
