The Cabinet of Ministers decided to extend the preferential price for electricity for the population in the amount of 2 hryvnia 64 kopecks per kilowatt until the end of May. Prime Minister of Ukraine Denis Shmygal stated this.

“We leave this price unchanged. The regulation on imposing special responsibilities on participants in the electricity market will be extended until May 31,” the prime minister said.
In addition, the Cabinet of Ministers approved a resolution maintaining the preferential price for gas for suppliers of heat and hot water for the population until the end summer.

The “Ministry of Finance” wrote that, according to Naftogaz, the current gas price of 7.96 UAH per 1 cubic meter for Ukrainian families will remain unchanged for at least another year .
