Zelensky signed a law on a moratorium on external debt repayments
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky signed Law No. 11396, allowing the government to suspend payments on external debt until October 1. The document also allows the government to transfer the state-guaranteed debt of the former Ukravtodor to the “perimeter” of the state debt and restructure it.

State-owned banks paid over UAH 36 billion in taxes this year
In 2024, public sector banks transferred UAH 36.1 billion (UAH 36,120.4 million) in profit tax to the state budget of Ukraine. In particular, based on the results of 2023 activities, state banks transferred more than 32 billion hryvnia (32,014.1 million UAH).
