Donald Trump's company, the Trump Organization, has filed an application to register the TRUMP trademark for a planned metaverse dedicated to the US President. This was reported in the blog of the law firm Gerben IP, writes Forklog.

What is known
The document covers a wide range of product and service categories planned for the proposed platform.
There will be the ability to buy virtual clothing and other goods, spaces for educational activities such as business training, and its own NFT marketplace.
Only content approved by Trump will be allowed on the platform. The restriction also applies to non-fungible tokens.
Josh Gerben of Gerben IP called the situation ironic because the Trump Organization is asking government Patent and Trademark Office employees to review their application while the administration is pressuring those people and threatening to fire them.
