Australia has contributed an additional 6 million euros to the Ukrainian Energy Support Fund. This was reported by the press service of the Ukrainian Ministry of Energy.

Australian Government funds will be allocated to key urgent needs of the Ukrainian energy sector.
The department noted that Australia announced an additional contribution to the Ukrainian Energy Support Fund at the end of 2024. Thus, Australia's total contribution to the Fund is about 18 million euros.

The Ukraine Energy Support Fund was established in April 2022. The announced contributions of partners to the Fund amount to more than 1 billion euros. The Fund's donors include the public and private sectors from more than 30 countries, including EU member states, the UK and the US, international and regional organizations.
