The National Bank bought $10 million equivalent of foreign currency on the market from March 3 to March 7. This volume is a record for the current year. Currency sales during this period amounted to $514 million. This is evidenced by the regulator's data.

Overall, since the beginning of the year, the NBU has purchased only $16 million in foreign currency equivalent, while sales have reached almost $7 billion.
With such actions, the regulator is trying to support the national currency.
The official hryvnia has strengthened by 73 kopecks against the dollar since January 1, 2025.
