Financial difficulties: cessation of payments

According to Naumov, the situation worsened in 2024, when Gulliver was transferred to ARMA by a court decision. After that, loan payments stopped. “There were no payments during the second half of 2024, and there are no payments now. Therefore, Oschadbank began the process of collecting the asset,” the chairman of the board noted.

Owner and debts: a difficult situation

The owner of Gulliver is considered to be Viktor Polischuk, who, although he denies ownership of the building, provided a personal order for the debts of the owner company in the amount of 207 million dollars. Polischuk also owns the Eldorado chain of stores and owned the Mikhailovsky bank, which went bankrupt in 2016.

History of construction and debt restructuring

Opened in 2013, Gulliver was built with a loan from Oschadbank and Ukreximbank in the amount of $441 million with a maturity date of 2025. In 2020, the debt was restructured with an extension of the repayment period to 2044.
