An audit of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine established the fact of groundless payment of additional monetary remuneration to individual military personnel in the amount of UAH 186.6 million. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Defense.

< p>“In fact, a number of military personnel were in permanent deployment points and performed functional duties not related to combat operations, but received combat bonuses,” the message says.
We are talking about the facts of identifying relevant orders in the military parts of the Kiev, Zhytomyr, Khmelnitsky and Poltava regions.
By decisions of the Minister of Defense, all audit materials were transferred to law enforcement agencies to establish the degree of guilt of officials and compensation for damage caused to the state.

The “Ministry of Finance” wrote that in October 2023, the Ministry of Defense, as a result of a random audit, revealed abuses amounting to UAH 123 million in payments to military personnel who did not participate in hostilities and did not perform combat missions.
