Auditors of the Northern Office of the State Audit Service discovered damage amounting to UAH 19.8 million during resumed work in Borodyanka, Kyiv region. This was reported by the State Audit Service of Ukraine.

Abuse of 20 million
The main part of the violations amounting to 14 million UAH is the lack of metal-plastic windows, which should have been installed by the village council within the restoration of the region. In addition, work on restoring windows and doors was carried out at prices exceeding market prices. Such violations led to the ineffective use of UAH 5.2 million of budget funds.
In addition, according to the checklists for the “єRenewal” program, financial assistance in the amount of UAH 2.6 million was provided for the repair of damaged houses. However, the auditors found that the same amount of money was reportedly spent on the same work, resulting in an actual doubling of the work.
This approach to the use of public funds causes individuals to receive double funding for account of other taxpayers.
Information about the identified violations was transferred to the Office of the Prosecutor General to bring the perpetrators to criminal responsibility.
