On May 10, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine adopted a decision that will allow two Ukrainian banks to attract up to 30 million euros from the European Investment Bank. Prime Minister Denis Shmygal announced this.

“These funds will be further used to support Ukrainian small and medium-sized businesses by improving conditions for preferential lending,” noted head of government.
He noted that Ukraine appreciates the support of European partners in all areas. EU budget support since the beginning of this year has already amounted to $6.5 billion.

The Ministry of Finance wrote that in Ukraine the volume of the portfolio of joint projects with the European Investment Bank in the public and private sectors is the largest in all the years of cooperation – it amounts to more than 7 billion euros.
