The number of registered investors in securities in Ukraine as of the end of 2023 reached almost 166.2 thousand, having increased over the year by 34% or 46 thousand, reported the Settlement Center for servicing contracts on financial markets (RC, Kiev) on its website., Interfax-Ukraine reports.

Bonds
According to his information, the volume of transactions with hryvnia domestic government loan bonds (OVGZ), processed by the RC, in December amounted to UAH 29.6 billion, which is 32.5% less than the November figure, and the number of transactions decreased by 5% – to almost 20.9 thousand
It is clarified that 4.5 thousand transactions were carried out with dollar government bonds over the past month, which is 41% more than in November, but their volume decreased significantly – from $167.4 to $99, 4 million
The number of transactions on government bonds in euros in December 2023 amounted to 350, and their volume was EUR5.4 million, while a month earlier there were 310 such transactions for EUR10.6 million.
As for transactions with bonds of foreign issuers, their number in December decreased from 42 to 31, but the volume increased from UAH 713.6 million. up to UAH 1.13 billion. There were also 303 transactions with bonds of Ukrainian issuers for UAH 1 billion (in November – 352 transactions for UAH 1.45 billion).
The volume of processed transactions with Ukrainian bonds of external government loans increased from UAH 29.3 million to UAH 52.5 million, although the number of transactions decreased by seven to 79.
Shares
Volume of agreements with shares of Ukrainian issuers reached UAH 16.1 million in October, which is UAH 1.45 million more than the November figure. At the same time, the number of transactions with them in December decreased from 29 to 16.
There were also 20 transactions with shares of foreign issuers worth UAH 513 thousand, whereas a month earlier there were only four such for UAH 57 thousand.< /p>

The rating of brokers – clearing participants for December, as in the previous two months, was headed by Investment Capital Ukraine LLC. In second place, as in November, remained Universal Bank (mono), and in third place was BTS Broker LLC. Kinto, Ltd. LLC moved to fourth place from 12th, pushing Privatbank to fifth place.
The second five include Univer Capital LLC, Ukreximbank, Ukrgasbank, Globus Bank and Profi-T Valuable LLC papers.”
