The volume of currency purchases by the population in March 2024 exceeded the volume of its sales by $574.8 million. This is the lowest figure since September 2023, according to data from the National Bank of Ukraine (NBU).

So, in February, the volume of net purchases of foreign currency by the population reached $824.5 million, and in January and December last year exceeded $1 billion.
< p>In particular, in March, the population reduced the volume of purchases of cash currency to $1.78 billion, and its sales increased to $1.26 billion. At the same time, individuals purchased non-cash currency for $0.35 billion, and sold it for $0, 3 billion.
In 2023, Ukrainians sold currencies for $18.2 billion and bought for $23 billion. The net purchase of currency by the population amounted to $4.79 billion.< /p>
