According to the results of the first quarter of 2024, the largest regional markets for new passenger cars in Ukraine were: Kyiv, Kiev, Dnepropetrovsk, Lviv and Odessa regions. This is reported by Ukravtoprom.

New cars
- Since the beginning of the year, Kiev residents have purchased 6,097 new passenger cars. In the Kyiv region, 1,313 new cars were registered. Residents of the Dnipropetrovsk region bought 1,179 units. In the Lviv region – 878 units. In the Odessa region – 860 units.
In the markets of Kyiv and Odessa region, the compact crossover Renault Duster received the title of best seller.
In the Kyiv, Dnepropetrovsk and Lvov regions, the Volkswagen iD.4 electric car was in greatest demand.
Used cars
The highest indicators for registration of used cars imported from abroad in the first quarter were demonstrated by:
- Lviv region – 6638 units; Kyiv – 4977 units; Kyiv region – 3635 units. Vinnytsia region – 3486 units; Ivano-Frankivsk region – 3179 units;
In these markets, in addition to the capital, the most popular car from abroad was the Volkswagen Golf.
In Kyiv, the Volkswagen Passat took the lead.
