The Air Force of the Ukrainian Armed Forces reported that on the night of Sunday, December 31, 2023, Russian invaders attacked the territory of Ukraine with 49 Shahed attack drones.
Ukrainian air defense forces destroyed 21 enemy UAV. It is noted that for the attack the invaders launched «Shaheds» from three directions: Cape Chauda in Crimea, the Primorsko-Akhtarsk region and the Kursk region of the Russian Federation.
A total of 49 enemy Shahed-136/131 drones were recorded. The enemy also struck the city of Kharkov with six S-300 anti-aircraft guided missiles.
The Armed Forces of Ukraine noted that the enemy sent most of the strike drones along the front line of defense, as well as at civilian, military and infrastructure facilities in the front-line territories, in particular in the Kharkov region, Kherson region, Nikolaev region and Zaporozhye.
In different regions of Ukraine, units of mobile fire groups of the Defense Forces, fighter aircraft and anti-aircraft missile units of the Air Force destroyed 21 «martyr» enemy.
