The head and founder of the Office of Transformation, Maxim Bakhmatov, said that the metro tunnel between the Demeevskaya and Lybidskaya metro stations is in disrepair and cannot be repaired, but will be built a new one.
He stressed that it is not worth it expect this tunnel to be rebuilt very quickly. Bakhmatov predicts that the “blue” metro line could be opened in a few years.
“It may take three years, two years and even five years to open the blue metro line in Kyiv. This tunnel is in emergency condition and cannot be repaired; they will build a new one, — said the chairman and founder of the Office of Transformation Bakhmatov.
