To develop a new artificial intelligence algorithm, scientists used data from more than six million Danes. Some of the data was taken from various archives and medical records. The researchers also collected information about the health, date of birth, place of residence, marital status and profession of the volunteers who agreed to take part in the study.
The obtained facts were then incorporated into a machine algorithm, which analyzed this information, looking for relationships and trying to predict future developments based on previous experience.
The neural network was able to predict the financial income and health of people throughout their lives. In addition, the algorithm was able to estimate the probability of a person dying at one time or another with an accuracy of 78%.
This was shown by further observations of people who took part in the study. Scientists believe that this technique can be used to reduce the risks of people dying prematurely and to develop individual strategies for improving health.
Recall that it was previously reported that the time on the Doomsday Clock will be updated: scientists have named the date.
