The military confirmed that fighters are facing problems in the supply of shells for infantry fighting vehicles, tanks, machine guns, artillery and multiple launch rocket systems. He emphasized that the problems are related to internal political difficulties in the United States, which in 2022-23 were the main supplier of ammunition to Ukraine.
The expert noted that although ammunition production in Germany is increasing, it is not enough to meet the needs of scale of the Ukrainian war. As a result, a difficult situation has arisen, and even with saving ammunition, the military may not have enough ammunition for a longer period, not exceeding a month and a half.
