As a result of Russian shelling that occurred on the morning of Wednesday, February 7, in some cities of Ukraine, power lines were damaged and substations were de-energized. The Ministry of Energy reported that more than 20 thousand subscribers were left without electricity in Kyiv, Kharkov and Nikolaev.
It is noted that in the capital, as a result of the shelling, power lines were turned off and substations were de-energized. It is clarified that because of this, some consumers in the Dnieper and Desnyansky districts were disconnected — only 19,400 subscribers.
«Health care institutions were left without electricity. The nature of the damage is being determined. Power engineers expect to power consumers within three hours», — the message says.
In addition, in Kharkov, after the morning rocket attack, power grids were damaged and almost 1,000 consumers were de-energized. They are scheduled to heal within a day. At the same time, 220 household and 6 legal consumers were disconnected in Nikolaev. They are planned to be powered by the end of the day, after the security situation allows.
