According to Varchenko, the Kremlin is currently discussing possible scenarios of action in relation to to the remaining ships. According to him, the Black Sea Flotilla is actively considering the issue of refuge, while the fleet leadership is trying to maintain its viability, moving from place to place.
“They realize that even if they manage to survive, they will face responsibility before international justice for crimes in Ukraine. The Russian military has been trying to strike Ukraine for ten years, but new methods of aggression can be contained», — he said at the end.
