Since Thursday, August 1, the service centers of the Ministry of Internal Affairs have begun issuing new driver's license forms and vehicle registration certificates.

The head of the Main Service Center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Nikolai Rudyk, reported that such documents contain additional security elements. According to him, a special marking consisting of three letters and six numbers has been added to the holographic image of the Ministry of Internal Affairs emblem on the protective coating of the forms.
He noted that thanks to such protection, the risk of document forgery will be significantly reduced. Another security element on the vehicle registration certificate forms is the QR code, which is located in the lower right corner. It contains a link to the online service of the Main Service Center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, where you can check the documents.
«After scanning the QR code, all the information entered into the electronic register, the series, document number and vehicle data, will appear on the screen, — Rudyk noted.
At the same time, all documents previously issued at the service centers of the Ministry of Internal Affairs remain valid. Ukrainians can continue to use them. However, if they wish, they can exchange them for a new driver's license and vehicle registration certificate.
According to Rudyk, the main service center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs actively cooperates with the Cyber Police in order to combat the production of counterfeit documents.
«We monitor social networks, and quite often citizens themselves inform us about fake resources that offer to purchase driver's documents. Therefore, we send all detected links and announcements about fake documents to the Cyberpolice, which processes the received data,” the official emphasized.
Recall that it was previously reported that a new type of rental will appear in Ukraine: prices will be significantly lower.
