Fighter with call sign “Muchnoy” reported that the Defense Forces in Donetsk region are gradually forced to retreat to the border with Dnipropetrovsk region.
This was reported by URA-Inform, citing a Defense Forces fighter with the call sign “Muchnoy”.
He noted that the last line of defense is currently being held.
“The last line before the Dnieper. Now we are gradually beginning to pull back to the main line of defense before the border of the Dnepropetrovsk region. Our Cossacks are forced to retreat west to the Novooleksandrivka-Nadeyevka area. Moreover, we will have to retreat from Novovasilyevka, and very soon from Uspenovka,” he said.
According to him, the occupiers are confident that Novovasilyevka will soon fall, since the village is effectively surrounded on both sides. The capture of this settlement will facilitate the enemy's advance northward, in the direction of Udachny and Kotlin.
In addition, the enemy has stepped up attacks toward Yasenevo and has practically reached it from both sides, threatening further development of the offensive.
«This village is a logistical hub, the loss of which will worsen communications between our units, and a threat will also arise to the south in the area of Slavyanka and Petropavlovka. We are successfully defending these two settlements for now and not allowing the enemy to creep closer, but the loss of these villages will lead to further movement of the boars to Andreevka,” the soldier said.
At the same time, Russian saboteurs have intensified attacks in one of the regions of Ukraine: the authorities have reported on the situation.
